- I place .wushu in the 10-29 band (vanity/narrow): the term is instantly meaningful inside one small global community, and a martial-arts school or tournament could plausibly use it as a primary identity, which keeps it above the 1-9 no-market band. It stays below 30-49 because, by analogy to existing single-sport TLDs (.rugby, .ski, .hockey), even sports with larger commercial ecosystems have produced thin registration bases and negligible aftermarkets, and wushu's commercial footprint is smaller still. A further drag, argued qualitatively: the natural buyer base skews toward mainland China, where Latin-script new TLDs face regulatory friction for in-country use and entrenched preference for incumbent extensions, so much of the notional audience is hard to convert (analogy to other niche TLDs aimed at Chinese-language audiences). Registration counts for comparable sport TLDs are unknown to me as verified figures, so this is reasoned from analogy throughout. My main market uncertainty is whether official sport bodies and school networks would adopt it as primary identity or treat it as merchandise-grade vanity naming.
