Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Namedesk. Last updated September 27, 2026.
The agreement
Namedesk is the app at namedesk.app and its API. By using Namedesk you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Namedesk.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and everything done with it. Keep the email address you sign in with secure. Accounts must be created and used by humans. You may hold one account.
Credits and payment
Namedesk sells credits. Credits are spent when you run a report or another paid action, at the prices shown in the app at the time. Prices can change. Credits are not money, cannot be transferred, and are not refundable. Payments are handled by a third-party processor; we do not store your card details.
Free credits
Free credits are a gift. We may decline, limit or remove them at any time, including for accounts that look automated or duplicated. Paid credits are not affected.
Reports
Reports are estimates produced by software and AI models. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. They are not financial, legal or trademark advice, and a price band is not an offer to buy or sell. You use them at your own risk. A report for a domain may be shown to anyone who researches the same domain or holds a link to it.
Registry data
Some features show where a name is registered, drawn from data that domain registries publish under ICANN's Centralized Zone Data Service. That data is licensed to us for research use only. You may look it up for your own research. You may not use it for marketing or to contact the holders of names, run automated or bulk queries against registries or registrars with it, or copy, export, resell or redistribute it. We limit how many lookups an account can make. We may change or remove this feature at any time.
Acceptable use
Don't use Namedesk for anything illegal, don't try to break or overload it, don't scrape it, don't access data that isn't yours, and don't use it to build a competing service. We may suspend or close any account, for any reason, at any time.
Changes
We may change Namedesk, its prices or these terms at any time. Material changes will be posted in the app. Continuing to use Namedesk after a change means you accept it.
No warranty
Namedesk is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including uptime, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Namedesk is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, business or goodwill, arising from your use of Namedesk. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending your account
You can stop using Namedesk at any time and ask us to delete your account. Unused credits are forfeited when an account is closed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
