.taipei TLD stats

• Run by Taipei City Government
• Sold most by Net-Chinese Co., Ltd., 74.5% in October 2024

Names on the books at the end of each year since general availability, from the registry's monthly reports to ICANN, through May 2026. The marked point is the certificate count of 23 Oct 2026, a floor under the registry's figure.

In its first year, to August 2016, 12 registrars held 10 or more .taipei names and the largest held 64%; by its tenth, to August 2025, 16 did and the largest held 76%.

Year 1 starts at general availability and each year is labelled by the month it ends. Registrars with 10 or more names and the largest registrar's share are read at that month. A year with fewer than nine monthly reports is left blank.

Net-Chinese Co., Ltd. held 74.5% of .taipei names in October 2024; the largest five together held 89.3%.

Shares add to 100%. From the registry's report for October 2024.

Cross-checkThe registry reported 4,182 names for Oct 2024; by Oct 23, 2026 certificates had shown us 312 of them, 7.5%. A floor, not a count: a name that never appears in a certificate is not here, and one that does is counted only once DNS confirms it.

Names seen in certificate transparency logs and confirmed in DNS, as of Oct 23, 2026. A floor, not a count of the TLD: a name that never appears in a certificate is not here, and we hold no zone file for .taipei. The registry’s own figure is the count; this one says how much of it we can see name by name.

Names under management at month end, as the registry reported it. Reported to ICANN monthly. Sunrise Dec 2014 to Dec 2014; general registration Sep 2015.
